Difficult relationships with parents or siblings in childhood, traumatic experiences or events in childhood or adulthood, can shape the way you see the world and yourself. Many people try to ignore those experiences, or can't remember them. But, through our interactions and the analysis of your dreams, your subjective world will unfold; we will witness together the experiences that helped form you.
 
As you become more conscious of your inner world (your assumptions and expectations, your unshakable convictions about yourself and others), you will become aware of how your inner life affects your current life. What are the blind spots that keep you repeating the same unhappy dynamic with your partner or colleagues or friends? The work in the treatment is to first understand your inner world and then to help reconstruct it on the basis of adult reality so that you can overcome those blind spots and experience more pleasure and mastery in your life.
